    Fisher Information: Quantum Uncertainty Relation
    Acta Physica Slovaca 54, 487 (2004)

Abstract: The paper deals with the reformulation of quantum uncertainty relation involving position and momentum of a particle on the basis of the Kerridge measure of inaccuracy and the Fisher information.

Review of experiments on the nuclotron
    Acta Physica Slovaca 54, 493 (2004)

Abstract: Some selected experimental and methodical results obtained in the field of relativistic nuclear physics at the Veksler and Baldin Laboratory of High Energies of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research at Dubna during last years are presented. A detailed review of the physics research programme at the Nuclotron and the future plans for 2004 -- 2009 are given.

Vibrating wire: a probe for the energy gap measurement in superfluid 3He-B
    Acta Physica Slovaca 54, 525 (2004)

Abstract: We present properties of a vibrating wire in vacuum and in superfluid 3He-B at temperatures well below transition temperature, where the properties of the superfluid 3He-B are comparable (analogous) with that of quantum vacuum. It is shown that the wire can be used to measure such fundamental physical quantity as the energy gap in a spectrum of quasiparticle excitations of the superfluid 3He-B.

Nonlinear thermodynamic magnetic field and specific heat of two-band superconductors in the Ginzburg-Landau theory
    Acta Physica Slovaca 54, 535 (2004)

Abstract: Temperature dependence of thermodynamic magnetic field for superconducting magnesium diboride MgB2 is studied in the vicinity of Tc using the two-band Ginzburg-Landau theory. The results are in good agreement with calculations from experimental data. In addition, the two-band Ginzburg-Landau theory gives a smaller specific heat jump than a single-band Ginzburg-Landau theory and nonlinear temperature dependence below Tc.
